About

Work that holds up when institutions are examined.

My career has centred on the points at which a board must decide, ownership changes, or a regulator, investor or counterparty must establish whether the numbers, structures and systems can be relied on.

I spent almost a decade at Goldman Sachs in London across several functions, from fixed income operations to the firm’s execution and clearing business, where I progressed to Executive Director. I then led programmes at Traiana, the foreign-exchange post-trade infrastructure business, automating straight-through processing across global markets, before working with exchanges at Bloomberg on the integrity and commercial development of their market data.

That work brought me to Nigeria in 2015 and to more than eleven years with the FBNQuest businesses. I led Strategy and Transformation, and the mandate widened to encompass Operations, People Management, and Marketing and Corporate Communications, together with governance oversight of technology and information security.

My focus now is board service and the institutional foundations of long-term growth in African financial services. I lead FSA Global Advisory as Managing Partner, working with institutions that must make sound judgements, execute what they decide, and be relied upon by the capital they attract and the public they serve.
